Recovering critical minerals in North America and Europe

Welland is the first of seven.

Our footprint

Welland is the first of seven. Across sites in Canada, the United States and Italy, ReGen estimates about 2.3 million tonnes of synthetic graphite.

The Welland facility

Our initial site in Welland, Ontario, sits on the grounds of a former Union Carbide plant that dates to 1906, where synthetic graphite was manufactured from 1906 to 1999. Today the site contains approximately 340,000 tonnes of synthetic graphite that ReGen plans to repurpose for the synthetic graphite applications of the future.
